The University is in good financial health. It can afford to take over £44 million out of cash reserves this year for the EIC and Masterplan, and it can waste thousands more on new branding. It has saved millions through VR (over 240 colleagues have left in the last year or so) BUT management still want make another 67 people redundant, including academic staff in the Faculty of Culture and Creative Industries, through compulsory redundancy.
Come to our EGM on Weds 25 Nov, 1.30-3.00, to join the fight against this appalling scheme. Check your email for the Teams link.
